TEACHING
Sarah is a freelance music tutor and has had many years of experience teaching saxophone, flute, piano and clarinet to students of all abilities from beginner to tertiary levels.
As an educator, Sarah's goal is to empower students to learn by encouraging their own passion. Sarah encourages a well-balanced approach and teaches students a diverse range of musical styles. Sarah's high level pedagogical knowledge from overseas study allows her to guide technical improvements and prepare woodwind pupils for tertiary study and professional performances.
Sarah has significant experience preparing students to succeed in AMEB and ABRSM exams, and specialist music school and Adelaide Youth Wind Orchestra auditions
Sarah is a conductor with the Adelaide Youth Orchestras and teaches privately and at the following schools

Sarah is now accepting students to start in her private studio in the inner Eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Bespoke lessons are offered at a fixed weekly time in a minimum term length contract.
As a Master of Music graduate, Sarah follows the recommended rates of the Music Teachers Association of South Australia.
$40 / 30 minutes
$80 / 60 minutes
Pro-rata fees can be negotiated on an individual basis.

Tutoring
As well as private instrumental tutoring, Sarah is available for music camp tutoring and sectional workshops (woodwind), and has worked extensively with youth ensembles. Sarah draws on significant personal professional experience as a performer to create engaging bespoke tutoring sessions for musicians of all ages.
